Heck, I voted, and I don't even live here. (But, my affiliation IS with the SoCal chapter, so I can legally vote)

I agree with Hawkeye - people complain about officers not doing anything - the least folks can do is vote.

That's exactly what I tried to convey. If things go bad there are at least 50 Members complaining , but if there is a potential for positive change it's quiet in here.
