would a slip yoke eliminator do the same thing as a t case drop?

No, they are used to achieve a similar goal (help with angles) but SYE does a lot more for you.bac XJ said:would a slip yoke eliminator do the same thing as a t case drop?
SYE= slip yoke eliminatorbac XJ said:what is an SYE? sorry im kinda new could you explain
It replaces the rear transfer case slip yoke. In addition to aiding in correcting driveline angles, it also prevents servere damage to the case tail housing in the event of yoke breakage. If the fixed yoke or drive shaft breaks there will be less of a chance of draining the majority of your fluid frome the TC onto the ground, thus allowing you to safely limp home on the front drive shaft.bac XJ said:what is an SYE? sorry im kinda new could you explain
