safari doors?

been wondering if they made safari doors that fit a 2dr xj? oh and i think this might be my first thred so hi every one!

the square ones dont look so good. i might have to streach a pair of doors....or if i ever get in an ag mechanics, i could build me a pair, but so far i cant seem to get in one!Hasta

I started to make a set of half doors for my 2 door and used doors from a 4 door. So far it is going good, but a there are a some differences form the doors
1. The 4 dr model the edge of the door is cut on a curve between the front and back doors so that the back door can swing past it, on the 2 door it is straight.
2. The 4 doors door latch pin is lower by about 2 inches than the 2 door so that has to be moved up.
3.There is about a 9 inch difference between the doors..

thanks for the advise, i might just chop a set of normal doors and make some half doors.

Does anybody know if Formattfab is still making the tube doors? I emailed both the addy I found on the site and didn't get a response yet. Would like to pick up a set of front doors for a 98.
