rogh start/idling when warm

Good idea, thought about that but not too seriously since the gauge I got is brand new... but very possible to be bad, especially since it hasn't been tested and confirmed as accurate. Ill try a different one and post the results.

I carry a $20 Harbor Freight fuel pressure gauge in the parts box, along with a OBDII scan gauge and digital voltmeter. Had the gauge's calibration checked for accuracy and it's right on.

I end up getting the $20 gauge from harbor, rail pressure jumped to a hefty 45psi... so yes, it was a bad gauge initially... go figure, lol. My initial gauge was a brand new acctron, 60 bucks, so one more reason that not always expensive is better.

Thanks for your help guys!

Glad you got it sorted out.
