If you make your own put supports up against the underside of the door sill. I used 2" square on mine. This will give you vertical support and prevent you bending the rail up into the sheetmetal. I had him do some work a few years ago when he worked out of his house in Enfield. He has since opened a shop near there but I'm not sure exactly where it is.
