O.K. I have installed the F9 in my xj. I obviously need some shock mounts. I searched and found the two different types and I will be going with the stud type.
My ?
Factory mounts on the xj is one shock mounted in the rear of the axle and one in the front.
Is it any better to move both the mounts to the front or rear of the axle?
I have no interior and this is mainly a trail rig so moving one of the mounts on the underside of the body to the front or back would be no big deal.
Is it worth it. Any advanage to the shocks being on the same side of the axle? If so front or rear of the axle. Bad idea? :dunno:
BTW its an 89 2dr 4.0 auto with 36'' TSL/SX
