I run RE leaves out back and RE Grand coils (stiffer than XJ). Even with the stiffer coils, if I disco'ed the front would flex like crazy but the rear would barely move. I ditched my straight shackles and went with boomerangs and trimmed the bumper bolts, now it flexes better and even rides smoother on the road. Just make sure you've got the correct shackles, correct length shocks, longer brake line, and longer ebrake cables and you should be all set.
