rear coil conversion

building your own?
buying pre-fabbed?
daily driver?
to the trails only?
knowledge/skill level?

if your asking, I will assume you aren't building your own, otherwise you'd know there are plenty of rear coil vehicles pulling it off with out a hitch... some Jeeps even come from the factory with rear coils.

re-search people that make them for you, then determine if your comfortable welding them into place, or having someone do that for you too.

it can be done, and it can be beneficial.
it can be done, and it can be disastrous.

buy a ZJ if you want rear coils. IMO the rear leafs are one of the best features of the XJ.

fab work and required skills needed aside...

those who ive seen with it use them primarily as trail rigs. they say its awesome for offroad, has hurt their on road and towing. none of these cases had bothered to install a rear sway bar setup )which would be a must for me personally if it saw DD duties).
