it's just not the same...

this is for the guy who doesn't have the guts to do this in person, the guy who can "go home" when it starts to rain, can fix his "rig" at his convenience, the guy who has to make his own trails...

i may sound harsh, but after returning from windrock, all i can do is laugh at this...

i know it was a little harsh... i guess you can do both if you have the money.

this ones a bit cooler...

...and i used to have RC vehicles when i was in middle school (since i couldn't drive a real car yet) and they were fun, but the real thing is so much better...

I'm a little partial to the white one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5C_vjQs9nL8

A son of a guy I know in our Jeep club builds RC rockcrawlers for guys in the club and of course they are mach ups of their rigs. He also built one for the March of dimes ride last year at Morris Mountain to auction of and proceeds with to the cause.

My son has one of the large Nytel Scorpians we picked up at walmart when they blew them out for $25 and has rock lights and such on it. Still nothing compared to these things. To expensive! I told him he can play with RC's like this or focus on the real stuff. He of course chose the real stuff.

that was a nice video... his "environment" seemed much more realistic, and i liked the look of the white one better myself.
