does the fuel supply enter the rail on the front and return out of the rear? or is it the opposite way? i installed a cell and someone pulled off my tape marking the lines.

ok hooked the fuel cell up. i am using the factory sending unit/pump mounted in the tank. jeep has no fuel at the rail. i bench tested pump and it works. have good spark. when i key on the fuel pump and auto shutdown relays click for a few seconds, power is dead at the pump
