Power steering

How important is the spacer type thing that want between the body and the gear box? Mine broke and wondering if I could do with out it.

You need it to space the steering box off the frame, you need the mounting bosses to be seated nice and flush.

Buy a replacement

thanks, other then there and the junk yard, do local parts places carry that type of part?

The oem one is aluminum and crap. Get a steel one like JCR's that spreads the load out over a large area. If you can fab it will take you $10 dollars in steel and 1/2 hour to make one.

don't want oem, but does one other then jcr make one, I did a search and did not find anyone else.
