I work for the US Navy as a Contractor and I use the OD green paint and the Tactical Grey paint often. It sprays and rolls on pretty well and the durability is unbeatable. Hey if an aircraft can fly mach 1 plus and it still stay intact has to be good. The product name for these paints is Deft. you can get them in all colors and also in Flat and Gloss. Good luck with the paint job.

Rustoleum sells gallons of "Professional Grade" oil base enamel. I just painted over a stained old red Herc job with it.

Red Herc after 3 years...

Rustoleum, Safety Red, roller applied over Herc...
