I just wanted to post this over here, to keep you guys up to date on what is going on at URE. We are currently organizing a trail hike of some of the old trails (Gold Mine being one in particular) in an effort to gather information to present to the Forest Service in an effort to get some of the old trails re-opened.
The Forest Service is planning on re-opening the old Big Branch trail combined with a couple new sections to create a "new trail" in a year or two. So its not that far of a stretch to work on getting other trails re-opened.
