looking for a good shop or recommended member to rebuild the rear drive shaft.

Pretty sure it came from six states when Ryan put in the SYE. I figured new u-joints but looking at it the grinding is coming from the coupling (I don't know the correct term) between the double u-joints. There is a zerk fitting in there that has been ground away.

Any thoughts? I am guessing new u-joints and coupling thingy, clean and lube up.

I've always gone to OC Driveline in Placentia.

FYI. Dropped it off at Powertrain yesterday (much closer to me than OC) picked it up today. They needed to cut and weld an new ball stud yoke. It looks brand new, all rebuilt, cleaned up and painted. Even cleaned up the slip shaft. And gave me all new install hardware.

Probably not the cheapest route, but certainly quick and seemingly very good.
