OBX first week of March

Lar and I will be staying in the Duck area during the first week of March.
Anyone want to grab a beverage or something?
We will have 'Yota so some beach exploring might be fun.
Can anyone tell me about the beaches.
I know I will have to get an ORV pass form a park ranger or something.
Any one local?

It's been several years since I've been to that area but last I know of there was no pass needed to access the beach north of Corolla as North 12 highway actually continues on the beach. This is the area where you can possibly view wild horses. I ran the beach a couple miles to the VA border which was closed off at that time.
