John going down the first obstacle on the challengingly narrow and steep 119 (IIRC) trail:

Me going down, playing on a stump trying to make things more interesting:

Eli and Company doing the same and telling me I'm number one:

Very narrow trails:

Ryan creeping down the most challenging section...it was a lot more fun going up. Just ask Joe.... ;)

NWFest2007011.jpg

Ryan threading the needle. The key to slipping between the trees was very often the set-up to the corner. Getting it wrong sometimes meant having fewer straight panels afterwards...or TJ flares:

What we do to rigs with frames:

John in a mud hole nobody made it through. The mud had the consistency of wet concrete:

NWFest2007II012.jpg

Even second gear, low range and 4500 RPM yielded the same result...ownage. :(

Home sweet Cherokee:

Michael negotiating a tippy section. At one point we heard Michael say over the CB, "Damn, this trail is off-camber!"

The YJ had a great advantage in a lot of the narrow spots.

Archetypal NW trails:

119 was a VERY fresh trail:

See, I told you it was really tippy:

Hey now, for the the record I did not lose a single TJ flare the whole weekend. I definately did have to employ the "Michael 14 point turn" to keep it that way:D
nice pics Matt

How many miles was the 119?

Maybe 1.5-2 miles not really sure. Definitly a trail to hit again. I highly recommend the trail to those who are prepared

Dry, I rate it a 3, recommend a TAD and no fear of off-camber.

Wet, I would guess a 4+, require two TADs and a winch. With no fear of complete body damage. :D
