NSS Question

700 Transmission computer has an error code set
705 Transmission computer thinks NSS is bad
1694 No messages received from the powertrain control module-Aisin transmission.
1698 No messages received from the electronic transmission control module or the Aisin transmission controller.

Along with the NSS being dirty or misadjusted, I'm thinking either a bad TCM or a wiring issue.

With my CEL on and the Trans acting up, I did this to try to aquire Codes.

"Insert the key but do not turn. Fully depress the trip reset button and hold down. Next turn the key to the on position three times and then leave in the on position. Release trip reset button and the gauges will flicker and the odometer will count down and then show the trouble codes"

It did the countdown but did not give me any Codes.
However it did Clear any Codes and the CEL is off and it is Shifting Great.
Only drove about 4 miles, but will go for a short drive alittle later to see when the CEL comes back on.

I don't believe the 97 will give codes with the key, I think that ended sometime during the 96 run.

I went ahead and replaced my NSS just because it was cheap $10
Did the NSS fix before I installed it and tested it.
Anywho no change.
I also picked up another TCM, because it was cheap, $10
Have not tried it yet
Next I will test the Solenoids
