hey nice Jeep :) Axles are full width with 5" offset rims.

Wow that looks great Mr. Jeff!

Just Bought all my steel . Stuff was expensive but its going to be Bad Ass!! Got a 4x8 sheet of 3/16 Plate ,20' 2x2 3/16 angel 20' 3/4 angle , 20' 1.5" flat bar , 10' 2x1 .120 wall box ,10' 3x1 .120 wall box. My take allot different than the other fenders and armor out there. I should have it done by next weekend for the Prairie City event on the 14th. Anyone want some used and abused Napier V2 Flares real cheap?

Nice!! Show us pics when they are all done.

you might have already mentioned, but do the REARS tie into the frame as well?

No they dont. But with the amount of screws and the steel backing plates they are very strong. I can stand on them and jump up and down and they dont budge.

Holy crappings those fenders are sweet. I'd love to have a set for the front.

The fronts are really nice. Im sittting at 5.5" lift and I can fit my buddys 38 TSL on it without hitting the fenders. They open it up so much. He sells them in 2 different styles I guess

Look really good and functional. I was going to make my own but I didn't think of plating the whole fender that looks a way better than I thought of. What are you going to do about the holes in the back doors?

Not sure what I am going to do about the holes in the door. Most likely going to just put in some white plastic snap in plugs that I saw at the harware store for now.

My attempt at Armor . Almost done with passenger side. Just need to finish welding and bolting to reinforcement brackets . Primor and Paint . A little trimining of the plating in the wheel wells. I know it doesnt look as tidy or as polished as some of the aftermarket offerings but there is nothing like building something for yourself. Bolting stuff on is fun and everything ,just not the same... This little project is taking about twice as long as I thought it would and costing about double what i had thought it should. I am pleased with the results . I think I have achieved the desired look and the level of protection I was looking for . Ill have to test it out on the rocks ,but so far a ball peen hammer and several forcefull kicks have not denteted or bent the armor . Even with just tack welds I can stand on the fender flares and I am around 250 lbs .

lookin good!!!

Very nice jeepme, your build continues to impress...

And look at that, your XJ is already the model Jeep being used on Hooligan's website!

Hey Great white,

what thickness are you using to skin the doors and rear quarters? .120, .250, ?

looks good, a little goofy, but itll look alot better once its all finished and painted.
