New steering wheel?

when the leather material started wearing out on my wheel right where I like to rest my hand the most, I just wrapped it in tape- I used some stuff for tennis racket handles because it matched the color well and felt nice, but anything from electrical tape to hockey stick tape would probably work (at least until you find a new wheel- I'm keeping mine permanantly- feels good, and gives better grip)
