This last Wednesday at the Mount Baker/Snoqualmie National Forest Service meeting we were informed that the new official width restriction for Evans Creek will be 80". This is great news as the old restriction was 72" and we have been fighting to get them to increase it to a more reasonable number. The forest service had previously stated that 80" would be the max width they could see setting for Evans so we are happy that that we got them to set it that wide.

That's great news! It's good to see examples of how the government is willing to work with the ORV community to further expand the activity/hobby.

im sitting right at 79.75

Bill, will they actually be enforcing the 80" rule (pulling the tape measure on the wider rigs), or is it going to followed like the previous restriction?

It's Official!!!

80" width restriction at Evans Creek ORV Park...

This was stated at tonight's focus group meeting by Bob Pacifico...

The poles that will be installed will be set at 80" apart...

You will have to fit between them to run the trails...

I hope they make some super beefy poles...or they'll probably end up destroyed.
