We have a new trail in the county! Unfortunately it is for ATV's/side by sides only, no Jeeps :tears: . I thought I would share it here anyway because I know many of you ride ATV's as well. Looks like a great time! Come on out Saturday for free ride day.

"It’s true that there is no such thing as a free lunch, but there is such a thing as a FREE RIDE DAY!
Come on out to the Ribbon Cutting for STONE MOUNTAIN OHV TRAIL – at 10:00 a.m. on SATURDAY 10.10.15 and ride for free! FREE RIDE wristbands will be available from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the LEEMAN FIELD TRAILHEAD in Pennington Gap. You can ride all day until the sun goes down. ALL riders who wish to receive a free ride wristband must sign a liability waiver. (Our attorney insists.)
STONE MOUNTAIN is Spearhead Trails' newest and most challenging offering. This system will START at BLUE difficulty level and will offer intermediate and advanced riders new and exciting challenges with never before seen vistas. Check out the latest pics!
STONE MOUNTAIN has NINE AMAZING OVERLOOKS for those willing to challenge the mountain. Don’t miss out. Make plans to be in Pennington Gap on 10.10.15!
Want to ride for more than one day? Of course you do. We’ll be announcing permit vendor locations on Friday. AND, we’ll be posting our trail map too! Stay tuned.
