Need a fuel tank for 99 XJ NC SC VA

I heard of an Army couple @ Ft Bragg NC... Hubby is in Iraq presently... Wife's 99 XJ some POS drilled the tank to steal the gasoline. So I am trying to hunt one down... Does anyone have one just lying around you want to part with?? Cheap

I believe the tanks changed 3 times over the years but not 100 percent on that. So to answer your question no a 89 tank will not work for a 99. They also changed the fuel delivery setup as well. As far as I know you will have to get one out of the new body style, but again not 100 percent on that.
