Naxja NW chapter adopt a trail?

Talked To Elyse today. Prolly not going to get the paperwork till after the new year. The DNR is figuring out thier budget. But I committed to 200 man hours for the adopt a trail. THIS IS NOT A SIGNED STATEMENT. Just told her what we would be there for, and are still interested in an adopt a trail.

And just for the record. 200 hours = 10 people for one weekend X 2. That's how easy it is.

Just keeping you folks in the loop. Once I have paperwork in hand, there will be a vote.

I don't know how this is the first time I've seen this post but this sounds great. I'm in (especially 'cause it's Walker). But I do like the idea of sponsering more than one trail for different areas around here.

Show up and I promise we'll put you to work. On the other hand, why not just buy a membership?

karl i've been looking into adopting a trail for the OOA and havent had much luck with where to go and who to talk to.

any idea who i would contact down here in oregon regarding this?
