Connor, thanks for the offer, but I want to make sure that my new light bar will work for my application before I let these ones go. Have fun down at the hammers guys. Im supuh jellay

I got my new light mounted over the weekend. It is a 20" LED light bar. Suuuuuuuper bright. I cut into the grill and recessed it in. I think it's pretty slick!

Very nice!! What brand?

Thanks for the compliments guys!

The light is from SuperBrightLEDs.com and was dirt cheap! Well worth the money, thats for sure.

The light is actually fairly protected. It would be really really hard for a rock to get up there to crush it. If I ever hit a tree or another car, Im sure that no matter what I do, the light will be damaged. However I will be doing some sort of a stinger that will be tied in to the cage (like erics)... maybe that will add a bit of protection to it.

I still cant get over how bright it is!

Is this the bar you got kevin?

I can't believe i haven't found this place yet. Amazing deals.

I bought two of these lil guys in a group buy for 60 a pop and am pleased with their output but i would of rather had that bar for pennies more.

I'm getting that bar, you can never have too many lights. Nice find dude, it looks great in your grill.

Yep, thats the one!

Do a google search for a coupon code. I found one for 5% off. Saved me a gallon or two of gas!

What do you guys think?

Thanks! The shoulder belts feel great. I feel like they could mount a tad lower behind my shoulders, so Ill be ordering some eyelets that I will run upside down under the tabs on my shoulder bar. Other than that, I love them!

Tucked it away under the carpet

So my brakes are acting a bit weird.

Whenever the brakes are wet, the brakes are very very touchy/sensitive. And when I have to press the brake pedal a slightly harder than usual stop, the front left brake completely locks up. It happens at any speed wether its 5 MPH or 70 MPH, but ONLY when the brakes are wet. They function 100% normally when dry or after I ride the brakes to dry them off/heat them up.

Any ideas as to what could be causing this? Im thinking of tearing down my brakes and re-lubing the caliper pins and re-applying lube/anti-squeak shenagins to the back of the pads. Will also give everything a good brake-cleaner cleanup. Anything else I should check?

I'm assuming the calipers are fine because they work great on a day to day basis.

I would pull the calipers off and inspect them. grease it all up. Check out each pad/shoe/drum/rotor for odd wear, grooves. start there. thats free and doesnt take any time. maybe youll find the culprit that way. water can make brakes act weird .

Thanks guys for the compliments. I got the bumper finished today. Here's some pics.

No winch behind the bumper yet. Honestly I probably won't end up doing it as I don't plan on buying a winch any time soon.

I think I like it. It's something new and something that you don't see very often. I just love being able to start with nothing and be able to design something like this as I go. I had no plans or ideas for the bumper before I started. Just began chopping and went with the flow!

Love the design, only thing I might change is adding a bare on the bottom. Mine has lots of rock rash and a couple dents, not sure a dimpled 1/8'' plate will handle that.
