Mj vs. Xj brake calipers.

For instance, my D30 has
97 housing
97 shafts
87 knuckles
97 bearings
97 rotors
87 calipers.

"much prefer the allen bolt guide pins. Which is why my 97 axle has renix era calipers on it. "


Missed connecting the former post with the later statement. Thanks for the help. It is appreciated and will greatly assist with my steering upgrade.
 
your thining is entirely correct, calipers must match the knuckle, but as long as the rotors match the bearing it will all work.
 
wow, i have a renix(89 4wd 4.0)and just ran into the problem of buying 93ish hub bearings and after i installed them realized my 89 rotors will not work.thought i was going to have to either lathe the flange down to fit my 89 rotors or buy 93ish calipers and rotors,whew. sure glad i found this thread it helped clear everything up for me. luckily it is also time for a brake job. thanks
