Mickey Thompson Sidebiter question

well after a lot of looking up wheel tire combos i think i have decided on a set up. the rims are 16x8 xd series HOSS with a backspacing of 4.5" and the tire will be wrangler duratrac in a 245/75R16 wich measures 30.5x9.8 on a 7" wide wheel. they will measure almost exactly the same as a 31/10.50/15 in width once on an 8" wide wheel and they are the same height 30.5. what do you guys think good idea?

the duratracs measure 30.5? usually actual height is lower than the classification. like 31 measures close to 30 and 30 to 29 etc...

the 31/10.50/15 measures 30.5 with a width of 10.5 on an 8.5" wheel. They will look nearly the same just a bit narrower what does everyone think?? any ideas?
