So right after I posted, I searched exploded view and found what I need, I think. http://www.jeep4x4center.com/jeep-transfer-case/np-231-parts.htm part #45. Does anybody know if this includes the bushing that bolts to the underside of the tranny hump. A pivot point bushing for the t-case linkage. My t-case shifter rattles badly, I think I traced the noise to 1 bushing, not sure if it's in #45, it looks like it is. Seems like I need part #
5014148AA sounds like a common problem.

Part number 45 IS the kit for the "hump" (body) side of the torque bar mount. The t/case bracket has a simple nylon push-in grommet (bushing) similar to part number 9 in the exploded diagram you linked to.

its a crown part http://www.crownautomotive.net/category/NP242-Transfer-Case.html

i cant find it on quadratechs site, but may want to give them a call as it is right down the road from you(e. norriton)

Q-tec doesn't seem to stock OE style parts unless they are in the printed catalog. Q-tec is about 5 minutes from my brother's work so that's cool if I need anything. The local dealer can get it for me for under $25 and they are only about 5 minutes away so I'm gonna order it from there tomorrow.
