Isuzu D44 questions

Anyone look at taking the disc brakes off of these (or a Rodeo or anything) for use on an XJ D44?

Is the flange bolt pattern on the housing the same?

Just another idea...

What Chris said. On the zuzu axle the caliper brackets are actually built into to the end flange. Not even worse trying.

What if you took the axle shafts and brakes from a ZJ 44 and installed them on the isuzu 44? It eliminates the weak and weird aluminum-hybrid ZJ 44, and converts the isuzu to 5x4.5" and cheaper disk brakes (although I think they're a little smaller).

wait... I didn't think about width and stuff... is there a way to just swap the brakes and wheel bolt flanges?

Something you forgot with suggesting the ZJ D44 shaft/brake swap... The ZJ D44 is a C-clip rear end...
