Installed the set of 5.0 injectors that I bought from 5.0 motorsports a few months back. The injectors went in and out without any trouble at all. I had swapped in a single injector about 6 months back due to it leaking, but a few weeks later I found another leaky injector so I bought a whole set of the 19lb 5.0 ford injectors. So I got everything back together and went to crank it over but no fire.
It sounds as if its trying to fire on one of the six cylinders, but it just wont go for the rest. I get fuel to the rail but I do not know if the injectors are firing or not. I know you can listen to them with a tool of some nature, also heard you can use a screw driver somehow.
There are not any mods i need to make to the injectors to allow them to work with the jeep ECU right? I have an 89 XJ, more or less factory motor. The injectors I got were the orange and black ones. Is there a way to see if I got the right injectors?
There is no leaking gas or anything around the openings (top and bottom of injector) so I dont think its an issue.
I may get a chance to tear into it tonight...so any ideas would be cool.
Thanks,
-Scott
