ISO: 3" coil springs

I'm looking to lower the jeep by going down to 3" coils instead of the 4.5" I have now. If anyone has any and are somewhat local to Greensboro, NC, I'm interested in buying or trading. These coils are under the jeep at the moment so I will need the 3" coils to take their place if a trade is to be made.

Are your current coils progressive? If not, have you thought about cutting them down a bit at a time until you get down to your desired height?

No they aren't progressive. Cutting coils makes the spring stiffer and I definitely don't need a stiffer ride.

A shorter coil tends to have a higher spring rate, but cutting a longer one down doesn't change the spring rate any that I know of.
But you can get a set of 3" coils for $70 off summit so it may not be worth the effort anyway.

I think I have a set of 4.5" and 3" coils. Not sure which set will go under the MJ now though.
