OK I don't see a place specifically to do this so hopefully I haven't missed it. Sorry for being a newbie if I did. I'm Brian aka BMan (ga just stands for GA Georgia), my son and I and even the whole family ride with Offcamber4wd club out of the Atlanta Area. I just joined the NAXJA site after lurking for a while. Me and my son just started to build our XJ which is still a DD. Yes we have a few other rigs but will be thining the heard soon. OK enough of that boring stuff, here is what we have so far. We look forward to riding with ya'll sometime!

- 97 XJ, 4.0, automatic (AW4)
- NP231 (non SYE currently)
- 3.5 RE Super Flex w/leaf springs, gen 2 disconnects
- Pro Comp MTs (yeah small ones for now, 30x9.5x15)
- Black steelies with I think 3.5 - 4" backspacing
- Trimmed fenders by me with a cut off wheel. Black door trim on edges.
- Removed the rack since the pics because the high lift caught a tree and ripped it off. LOL!
- Custom built sliders by XWorx (guys shop in our club) and me (he did 98% of the work).
- The rear bumper I stole from my waggy, cut it down, recapped and custom did the mounts.
- Stock Dana 30 front axle, no locker yet with stock 3.55 gears.
- Stock Chrysler 8.25 rear axle, limited slip with stock 3.55 gears.
- Rugged Ridge front Diff slider and 4x doctor rear slider.
- Warn TCase slider (to be put on)

Next items to add are winch and front bumper, tranny/engine skid, bigger tires.

This is my sone driving. He is 12 and we are working on spotting and driving. He loves it!

Welcome to the chapter. Love the flexing shot of the XJ

The late late 70's grill threw me for a second. Sweet rig!!!! Makes me miss mine. I'm a sucker for the FSJ's. Just don't miss the gas mileage lol.

Thanks! Yup a 70's razor (need to install hood bar still) on a 90's chassis. The motor is apart right now replacing timeing chain and a bunch of other things. Gas mileage is a bit better with the howell TBI kit on it. Once I get it back up running I'm going to try it for towing. If not I may sell it to fund the XJ build further since I already have a Dana 60 for the rear. I may sell the zuk too. I had Dana 44's to go on it but the XJ wheels so nice! :woohoo:

Mike, that's just cold..... Keep on and the next time I help you wrench on your heep I'm going to switch up all of your vaccum lines when your not looking. :laugh3: Renix motors love it when that happens. :D

Thanks again guys! The flex is good and looks better with having only 30's on it. :wierd:

LOL! I see ya'll know each other! :D

To be honest the Zuk is in the garage on stands, was going to start putting the Dana 44's under it for the 38.5's but may scrape that project. Slap some wheels/tires on it and sell it for about $1500-1800. The waggy needs to be put back together too. :rattle:

At least his stock rear bumper will look good on my wife's...Glad to see ya Brian, anything left under the deck? Do you wanna do a WOT in GA- I should pick my other one up tommorrow.

LOL! Hey Robby. I have some stomach flu today so I haven't been drinkin up!

WOT would be kewl! For those wondering, he picked up my stock bumper and ends for his rig and left some Bass as a donation!

For $1800 I'll throw in the Dana 44's, $1500 with out.

- Front and rear Dana 44's with 4.10 gears, flat top knuckle on one side ready for tapping.
- All steering components with it.
- New calipers and I think new rotors but they have surface rust that needs sanded off.
- Stock axles under it but rear needs pinion angle set.
- welded rear
- 2 other rear carries one with a mini-spool in it (broken pinion), one is open (functional).
- I just bought new perches to redo the pinion angle.
- SOA
- Toyota rear drive shaft with rockrat toy to zuk adapters.
- Rear YJ springs already done using SKY kit.
- Front YJ springs included but you'll need to purchase the kit. Around $200-250 if I remember.
- Stock TCase with new poly mounts functional
- Extra TCase ready for rebuild (Trail Gear 6.5:1 gear set is $499)
- Extra driveshafts and misc other parts
- doors included
- Targa bar not available and thus the need to tie in cage to current roll bar or create a full cage....
- Motor is a 1.9 Escort motor with Holley 2bbl and a cherry bomb exhaust
- 5 spd Tranny not sure what its from
- Radio Shack CB and Barjain Ant
- Spare tire (roller bascially)
- 30x9.5x15 Pro Comp MTs on aluminum rims
- 2 Brand new cloth Rugged Ridge OEM replacement seats.
- Herculined inside
- Herculined minus most of the texture outside.
- 2 Jeep round Fog Lights mounted on windshield tabs.

Here is a more current pic. The tires and rims are different now. Those are the old seats.

welcome...
nice "toys"...
what did the D44s come frome?

BTW the Zuk has sold.

The Dana 44's came out of a J truck. So they're pass drop front and pass offset rear or I'd use them in my XJ. Same offset CJ's use too.

Thanks for the welcome!

Dang dude your around the corner man! I'm near Lassitor High, u? Next Sunday you going to Chattanooga/Aetna for the meet n ride? I usually ride with Offcamber here locally. There are now 3 or 4 XJs in Offcamber, one on 60s and 39s, mine and a few stockers..... We'll have to get together man, drink beer and maybe wheel some!
