'90 with a 4.0 and AX-15. what year and model of jeep do I need to get a bellhousing and associated parts from for the swap?

I think 96+. I think you will need the bellhousing and front bearing retainer or whatever it is called. The Bell Housing should be around $50-75. I don't know on the bearing retainer. You will also need the clutch fork, pivot etc. I picked up the clutch fork at the dealership for about $20. That was chaeper than aftermarket. Couldn't find one in the junkyards. Throwout bearing $50-75 I think. Might check Advanced Adapters, they sell a kit for an external slave cylinder. They adapt a Toyota Landcruisers to work.

It's pretty easy do do all you are required to do is get a 94+ bell housing for an ax-15, a new 94+ bearing retainer.

The new hydralics are a pre-bled complete system, master-to-slave from the dealer. So that will take care of that.

Then you just have to get the new throw-out bearing and fork.
