hey that looks like what I did! though I have a big ass cyndrilic K&n thats about a foot long so my pvc intake tube is about 5" long, and its still white. Dont know if yours is plastic or metal, but I found PVC easier to work with. I got zip ties holding the filter down to the little ridge below, its a great jobbed up deal, hopefully I get better gas milage as well as the beauty of a sound.
