Is there any way of adding more head-room in an XJ? Is there anykind of seat relocation braket or different seats that can be put in that would add head-room?

6'5" I am kinda a big fella,
i would suggest taking your drivers seat out, cutting the seat frame mounting points to the floor off and cutting an equal length section (amount of cut would equal the amt of head room you wish to increase) off of the seat frame legs. weld the seat frame mounts back on. grind the rough edges off for a clean finish. spray paint bare metal to seal from rust. put everything back together. 2hr job plus smoke breaks. this might be turning more into modified tech than OEM tech. oh yeah, make sure your mounting points are still the right lengths apart to use the stock mounting spots on the floor.
