I have heard Hack N Taps suck, but no one can explain why

Nothing wrong with the h&t. All the issues you hear about them are due to installer error IMO. Ive been wheeling with mine for 10+ years with a tera low and have never had a problem. Not easy on my rig either, kinda heavy, 36" tires and alot of hammer trails.

If the mainshaft snaps, the full sye would have helped

I had a H&T in my buggy with 39.5" tires pushing a rockjock 60 and 14B rear. ANYONE that ever saw me drive it or any other rig, knows I am NOT easy on anything I own.

I Never had one issue by doing the H&T.

Would I do it again, maybe, but since I get dealer pricing on so many things now, and RE being owned by Transamerica, now my true SYE is almost the same price as the H&T, and just makes more sence to get a full SYE.
