So I started to get vibrations in the drive train and last time this happened I had to replace the u jonts now this was 6 years ago and isn't there in the middle of the double cv part a ball spring and bearing deal that you have to replace as well? drawing a blank. been some time since I rebuilt that thing.

last time I just swapped out the U-joints and didn't need a balance done worked fine I just cant remember if I bought anything other than the two U joints. I have two spare ones in the garage from the last time I did it. It's just been so long I don't recall. Getting old the memory is shot.

If your in the springs take it to driveline specialist, they'll rebuild it for you, with spicer joints and rebalance it too for about 10-15$ more than it cost to get shit joints from AZ

already have the spicer U joints just drawing a blank on the middle CV sections if it has a bearing in it or just that cap and spring deal. got a heck of a deal for them at cost from work years ago.

I just went through this myself. That part does wear out. I'd just have someone rebuild it rather than monkeying around with it. If you tackle it yourself, buy that part from Frank and watch the Youtube for rebuild videos. From what I understand, rebuilding that assembly is a BEOTCH.

Bill's Englewood Driveshaft did me right. He rebuilt everything within 48 hours and it cost me $180.00 out tha dooh...

ok I remember that. Last time I rebuilt it myself with a second set of hands a c-clamp a few curse words ok a lot of curse words and a 6 pack. I need to do the repair this weekend. I'll see if RMS has one if not I'll give Frank a call.
