gas filler tube relocation (and removal of lots of rear sheetmetal)

I got rid of the filler completely. I needed more wheel well and didn't want to go higher. I also wanted to turn my springs around to get more wheel base. With the axle moved back it would hit the gas tank. Now the end result is a fuel cell, more wheel base, bigger tires with less lift and a better departure angle.

hey, if you are up for getting rid of a lot of sheetmetal like you say, then maybe you don't need to worry about a filler neck?

have you considered a fuel cell?
