Fun in the Jeep today. A close call or two.

This first one is from a rock called Hummer Rock. I have done it many times in the past (only broke a driveshaft there once) with little problem. This was also my first time out since ditching the 35in Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ's for Goodyear Duratrac 33's.

Today was different. The rock was worn away from some asshat in places the did not work with my wheel base. You might notice the point where I got a little pucker factor.

This one is in two parts. I have done this one before on 35's, but wanted to see how the 33's would do. The front end got a little light at the last waterfall climb. I decided I need a break for a few min.

That was crazy, nice trip. Awesome job with 33s and open diffs.

Here is another angle of me climbing the waterfalls. Good times. :) Shows a better angle of why I stopped towards the end. I needed to have a look to see if I needed a strap so I would not roll over, or if I would be able to drive out. Baking out of that canyon is not a viable option.

Nice. Thanks bro.
Looked like Sam was filming also, would like to see from that angle too.

Funny, on video, that lil rock climb looks like nothing. It does not show that damned rut that sucks the Jeep in. Seems like I am far enough to the right on getting on that lip, just need a little more speed so when it kicks me over, momentum would carry me through.

Shock mount is nice and polished. :)

Here you go. Listen to the video good lots of strange sounds.
