Fresh Paint for an 88'

I had this done at a Maaco shop, in Allentown, PA. It's single stage DuPont Nason, their better paint-job (although cheaper paint), and in June of '09 it cost about $400. Business was slow, so I got a better job for a basic price. I did all the bodywork, prep, and most of the masking myself, with my son doing all the welding- new rockers, lower quarters, lots of rust damage repair (he's got a good touch, after a few classes). Finish isn't show quality, but it's no worse than when it was new- QC wasn't a priority in 1992, apparently. It' the original color, Dark Silver Metallic, and it's a good match. A cheap, decent paint job can be had commercially, if you shop around, for little more than the cost of the paint.
