Well guys,
Been patient and I thing I found my jeep. It's a 99, sport,4x4, auto with 129,000 miles. All fluids look good.... power steering, tranny, engine oil, brake fluid, coolant.... Very small rust buildup in the right corner of the roof, not really noticable.
When for a test drive and it shift good, no funny or weird noises. Runs hard, brakes well, no leaks that I could tell. 4x4 worked well on loose surface.
The only thing is that on all jeeps, when I take out the radiator cap, there seems to be a build up of some kind in the tube or neck, not sure what you call it. It's not a slime but a build up that you could remove with your finger. What could that be? Any any of you with xj's notice that?
Owner indicates the temp guage goes to 210*, while test driving it, it would stay around 200* or so, is this normal?
Anything else I should look for? Need ideas...
Thanks..
