Most people don't get the luxury of planning their unemployment 3 months out. Unless you're independently wealthy and don't need to work, saving every dime you make between now and Jan. would be the best "build" option you can make. Might be really happy with this decision around March when the rent comes due,..

I took mine many places with a small budget boost and some 30" tires. Get some sway bar disconnects, trim the sheetmetal and bumpstop and you could have a pretty capable rig for pretty cheap. You'll enjoy it more when unemployed if you're still getting near stock mpgs, and don't have thousands sunk into it when you need food or rent. Plus, it's better to get started in wheeling small, then move up as you go.
