I know this thread is a month old and I've been flamed before for bringing up old threads. But....seems to me that someone using a receiver mounted winch could greatly increase his/her odds of not having to do an angled pull by keeping a Pullpal handy. Nice to have anyway if you're on the prairie or in the desert!
