Big expanded government, wealth redistrubution... If he is elected it will be the biggest government expantion since the "New Deal". The real troublesome part of all this is that McCain isn't that far away from Obama. Their both spending our money like drunken NAXJA members...

You guys do realize that his own grandmother states that she was there at the hospital in KENYA when he was born?? His siblings say he was born in a hospital in Hawaii, but they both gave names of different hospitals... Kind of fishy isn't it??

And for those that say, he is a legal citizen, his birth certificate is on factcheck. Obama sat on the board for annenberg which is a part of factcheck for 4 years... How can you trust factcheck??

In the Marine Corps (and most likely the other services as well) I was taught to come to the position of attention and salute during both the pledge and the National Anthem, especially the National Anthem.

Normally I agree with you, but this is just dumb. You don't attend a church for 20 yrs because you disagree. If it was all just a front for his Muslim beliefs, he could've chosen a more mainstream church, one where they didn't preach hatred of America. I'm not a member of my church but I believe the words that my pastor speaks. Read the Bible myself to be sure. However, out church doesn't require or even have membership. I think Obama's as much a Muslim as I am, but I dislike for other reasons. I have no need for making stuff up or even caring about all the nonsense. He's a socialist. When McCain's citizenship was questioned, he produced douments to prove it. Obama has yet to do so, and this is in a federal court case. What's he hiding? One side of his family says he was born in Kenya, the other says Hawaii. Obama has no leadership experience. He's promising too much free stuff. But then McCain is promising some free stuff too. I'm not necessarily a huge fan of either candidate, but Obama is well behind in my estimation.

I think you misunderstood what I wrote...

I think a long time ago, Obama realized he wouldn't get elected in this country if he was a Muslim - so he chose Christianity - and sure, maybe he had other reasons too. Whether or not those are his true beliefs, I question that just as much as I question his birthplace. The man has publically supported AND ALSO denounced his own church/pastor.

Like you, I just want answers and TRUE answers.

You're right, I dont think any of our military services would accept him.....
 
the way I was taught in ROTC was if you hear the anthem you stop, face the music, and salute if in uniform, if in civvies you stand at attention or cover your heart. You do not stand there like a slack jawed idiot and slouch. And it has been that way a while. I just commissioned, but my dad has been out for 25years and he still does it. Makes me proud.
 
When I played in little league the national anthem was played before each game, we removed our hats and placed them over our hearts for the duration of the anthem. All the parents (who were allowed to cheer during the game) stood with their hands over their hearts. In scouts the uniformed members of the troop gave the scout salute during the anthem and those out of uniform placed their hands over their hearts.
Everybody I know sees it as disrespectful not to salute the flag, but some of those people are planing on voting for him.

I dont want healthcare reform. I have tricare. I like it. My wife is covered for EVERYTHING. She has no copay for office visits 2-3 times a month, and I pay $3 for $290 prescriptions.

If the govt starts trying to cover everyone, they may have to cut my funding. And I am selfish
