I was looking at the angle on my upgraded ZJ steering setup and the drag link looks like it is at a steep angle. Does anyone know the specs on the angled Currie draglink TRE and will it work with a stock jeep drag link? There steering assy uses angled tre's at the top and bottom but I don't want to spend $450 for the setup. The TRE is listed as part # CE-9701DLR

the currie drag link TRE uses a 1-1/8" thread. it will not work with the stock stuff.

if you are over-traveling the TRE, you can put the shank of it in a shop press and add some bend (like the currie unit) in order to gain more travel out of it.

I had to do this to my currie TRE, even with the extra bend it comes with I was over-traveling it.
