Cracked Flexplate / Loose Flexplate bolts?

After a long day in the sun and a few bloody knuckles, looks like I'll have to pull the tranny to find out if the flexplate (flywheel?) bolts are loose or the damned thing is cracked. Hope for an easy, inexpensive, answer.

Good news is I saved money by switching to Geico... ugh.

I was reading thru these post.
My 88 Jeep Cherokee Laredo automatic 4.0 was doing the same thing.
I found this guy on craigslist who claimed to know how to fix jeeps. So I sent him a message stating that my flexplate was either cracked or loose. He told me then I would have to get rid of my jeep!! or get a new tranny...Can you believe that!!!!!..I had my boyfriend go under my jeep and see if the flexplate was loose..and sure enought it was. After reading the posts I told my boyfriend what to do. He dont know crap about jeeps. He did it and OMG it runs beautiful..
Thanks guys :kissyou:
