Ok, so I went through and replaced every single part of my cooling system except for my heater core aout 3 years ago. I put in the 3-core GDI radiator whiched worked OK for a while. This summer it started overhearing in traffic again and overheating while climbing grades at speed. At regular highway speeds it is fine. Water pump and fan clutch are good to go, so I'm leaning toward the radiator (especially after searching and reading some less than stellar reports n the GDI) Does it seem like I'm on the right track here? It seems to me like my setup is just not dissipating heat unless air is being forced through the radiator from driving at speed. Also, opinions seem to be fairly mixed on the Modine and the CSF radiators depending on which thread you read. Any advice on which way to go? I know this topic has been beat to death (as evidenced by the 10+ page of threads that came up when I searched) but after 2 hours of reading, I still had a few questions. Thanks for any help.
