hey, i´m down here in costa rica right now, and i´ve seen two or three lifted forester´s that had a factory low range and locking center and rear differentials! they were wheelin with sprungover samarai´s and keeping up well on the rocks, sand, mud, you name it! i wish i had gotten a picture! forester´s look bad ass on 31´s!

Sounds like a mud truck. They do not flex good so if rock is your thing, look into something that at least has coils on one end.

MPG bwahahaha it get around 6 mpg and runs on 93

I'll admit I think they are cool, just don't downshift that tranny or it will go boom. The person I wheel with most of the time has one on 4in lift and 35s and the only place he shows me up is the mud. If you want to be big and loud though, it will be great. They are awesome trucks, just not my thing.

i sometimes wished i dumped the 8k that has gone into my jeep over the past few months into a subie..... or rather my toyota. either one would be more awesome then my money pit DD jeep
