Does anyone run Cam 2 in there Jeep? What are the pros/cons? Anything to be careful of? There is a place in Hughsville PA that sells it for $8 a gallon.

What ever it is, I don't think I would want to pay $8 per gallon for it.

idk if our 4.0s make high enough compression to take advantage of the higher octane. but im no expert.

the only thing higher octane will do is let you run higher compression. ok, it might burn a c hair more effeciently, but not enough to make a difference to the 4.0.

you hit the nail right on the head. Also you may run the risk of detonation due to the higher octane. I used to run cam2 in my honda, but that was an 11:1 compression motor and even at that compression i had to delute it 3:1 with 93 octane. It would just be a big waste of money but it would smell good.
