When they are bolted to the frame, do the bolts go all the way through? or is it tapped and threaded? Also, the pinch seam that is being talked about here is below the door? Or is that something else?
Yes, the pinch runs underneath from wheelwell to wheelwell.
As for the bolts that mount to the frame, I think they are self-tappers. It's been so long, I can't remember. But now that I think of it, they would have to be self-tappers.
Front are self-tapping into the side of the frame-rail. Rear is nut and bolt through the rear spring hanger. You can put a nut on the bottom of the two front bolts - there's a hole in the frame rail that will allow you to fit a lock washer & nut so that you can minimize the risk of pulling the other self-tapping bolt out.
