Broke oil sending unit

im thinking you got the wrong sending unit, there are 2 one is for the idiot light gauge cluster and the other is for the full gauge cluster; something tells me you got the wrong one and the guy at the counter doesn't know theirs a difference.

Yes it has oil, the guy at napa asked if it had a guage and checked again when i exchanged it. Yesterday i copper lined a guage to the dash and now need to figure out how to shut off the check guages light in the cluster.
